Acoustic Box Guitar
Review of the acoustic guitar Yamaha F310
Before starting to write a review for this guitar, I read about a dozen other similar ones. Everything that caught my eye was the same. It began something like this: "the ideal option, the best price-quality ratio." It's hard to argue with the authors here, the guitar is really good for its money.
And what was not entirely clear to me, in the reviews, was this: "Yamaha F 310 is an ideal musical instrument, both for a beginner guitarist and for a professional." I can say for sure, professionals play completely different guitars =).
Yamaha - F-310, a very good guitar, but it is student, do not expect miracles from it.
This instrument is great if we are talking about an amount of up to UAH 5 thousand, but buying a guitar for 10 thousand, you will feel the difference, and not a small one. Each price category has its own "heroes" and Yamaha F-310, this is a hero up to 5 thousand UAH.
So who is this guitar for? Buyers of Yamaha F-310 are ordinary people, they choose this instrument for initial learning to play the guitar, for hikes and gatherings around the fire, for playi Acoustic Box Guitar ng in the entrance (you must admit, who did not have this).
So, in this review, I will try to convey important features specifically for potential buyers of this guitar.
Let's start with what this guitar is made of, delving into this topic a little, because it's one thing to just write the material, it's quite another to figure out what is behind it.
The top is made of spruce. This is a classic tree, a kind of standard for guitar building, we will not focus on it.
But the back and sides are made of Meranti.
A lot of buyers (after studying the sea of reviews) ask what is the Meranti tree? Meranti (Shorea) is a genus of mainly tropical woody plants of the dipterocarp family. What we understood from this is correct - nothing!
In short and clear: these trees grow in Asia. Furniture and musical instruments are made from this tree. What is important for us as buyers is that this tree is very stable. The climate in Indonesia, where the guitar is made, is very different from ours. And the tree, as you know, is very susceptible to deformation due to changes in climate. Surely everyone has heard about Chinese guitars made of the devil knows what, in which the body bursts after a couple of months and takes on rather bizarre shapes. So, Meranti, from which the F-310 is made, is a very stable tree.
You can not be afraid for the instrument, having gone to the sea, or going to the teacher in 20 degrees frost.
The next thing I want to draw your attention to is the height of the strings above the hypha. It is very small, it is very easy for novice guitarists to press the strings and take chords from the bar. At the same time, you will have nothing and no where will you blur and ring, the frets are rolled up perfectly. The Yamaha F-310 has a comfortable and pliable neck itself, there is a feeling of softness and airiness when playing.
Yamaha has excellent workmanship control. It will not work out for you that Vasya's neighbor has a wonderful F-310. On his advice, you bought the same one, but it is all crooked and does not sound.
