Vincent I. Maduka (born October 5, 1935) is a Nigerian engineer, television personality and the first CEO of the Nigeria Television Authority (NTA). Recipient of the National Award of Nigeria, Knight Commander of the Order of the Federal Republic of Nigeria OFR (2003). From 2008 to 2016, he worked as a Senior Research Fellow at the Panatlantic University, Lagos, Nigeria.
Maduka was born on October 5, 1935, in the Lagos region of Nigeria, to Albert Usediuno Maduka and Cecilia Amuamuziam Maduka, who were originally from Illah in the Oshimili Northern Municipal District in Delta State. During the traditional baptism he was named Ifeanichukwu, however, a friend and neighbor of his father gave the name Bamidela, and this (Dele) quickly became preferred by the residents of the area. He was baptized in the Cathedral of the Exaltation of the Cross three months after his birth and received the name Vincent.
He received his primary education at Lagos Government (Elementary) School, S Engineer Bamidele andgrose, and then was accepted on a Fellowship to King's College in 1949. He was awarded a Western Region Government Scholarship and admission to the University of Leeds in England in 1956, where he received his Bachelor of Science with Honors (Electrical Engineering) in 1959. Maduka started working in Marconi, Chelmsford. From there, he was recruited by Western Nigerian Television (WNTV) Ibadan, owned by the Western Nigerian State Broadcasting Corporation (WNBC) in 1961. Maduka left WNTV and entered University College Dublin in 1967 for the MEng.Sc. He married Ola in North Wales on December 17, 1968.
The civil administration of President Shehu Shagari in 1979 did not accept the non-partisan position that the NTA held under Maduka, and in 1983 he was disciplinary removed from the NTA and transferred to the ministry. communication as a technical advisor.
Maduka was reinstated in the NTA State Duma by a military government led by General Bukhari, who overthrew the government of President Shagari. He retired voluntarily at the age of 50 to form a management and engineering consulting company called Macrocon Systems Limited. A major project undertaken by Macrocon Systems was the deregulation of Nigerian telecommunications companies and the establishment of a regulatory body, the Nigerian Communications Commission, NCC, in 1992.

Maduka served as President of the Nigerian Society of Engineers (1992–1993) and President of the Nigerian Academy of Engineering (2004–2005).
